Basia Lozowik. MSW, RSW. (She/Her)

My name is Basia and I am a registered Social worker. I know life can be overwhelming and hard to deal with at times, but your struggles don’t have to defeat you. I’m open and empathetic and aim to create a safe space for you to be able to share your thoughts and feelings without judgment.

I work from an anti-oppressive, client-centered, holistic, trauma-informed, and feminist approach. I am passionate about supporting those going through life transitions, family conflict, experiencing anxiety, who have self esteem/ body image concerns, depression and emotional regulation challenges. I have worked with a diverse range of backgrounds in various settings such as live-in treatment, community prevention, schools and hospital settings.

I believe you are the expert of your own life, my hope is to support you in exploring your challenges and gain deeper insights of yourself and identify goals to achieve through sessions together as well as creating healthy coping skills.

I want to commend you for taking this next step in your journey and being vulnerable. I look forward to working together on your goals and watching you grow and heal within our sessions.

    FAMILY THERAPY

    • 50 minutes, $200 (virtual only)

    • 75 minutes, $275 (virtual only)

    Please note, New Horizons Psychotherapy & Counselling Services is not able to bill insurance companies directly. It is important that you speak with your insurance provider in order to understand your coverage eligibility with a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Services Workers (OCSWSSW).
